OUR VISION
At Peace of Mind, we are dedicated to enhancing mental health and wellbeing for emergency service personnel. Through our innovative campaign, we aim to provide therapeutic benefits that angling can offer to those who serve the community.
The video explains our vision in more detail.

Our Angling Trust Level 2 Coaches and Mental Health First Aid trained volunteers pair with emergency service workers for supportive, informal fishing sessions, encouraging early conversations, reducing isolation, and strengthening peer support during challenging times.

Supporting new anglers through coaching, equipment provision, and taster-days helps ease the barriers to starting: it builds confidence, fosters community and purpose, and promotes mental wellbeing through nature, calm, and social connection.

We aim to improve accessibility by enhancing paths, creating more disabled-friendly swims, and adapting facilities so members with mobility issues or duty related injuries can fish comfortably, safely, and with greater independence across our waters.

We foster community and peer support through inclusive social events and charity fishing matches, creating opportunities to connect, share experiences, build friendships, and strengthen wellbeing across our angling community.
